1. Acceptance

By accessing or using HelloPraise ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

HelloPraise provides AI-assisted tools for writing performance reviews. Generated content is a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before use.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
  • You may not share your account or use the Service on behalf of others without their knowledge.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is false, defamatory, or discriminatory.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service.

5. Free plan and subscriptions

  • The Free plan includes 2 AI-generated full performance reviews per account, for the lifetime of the account. This allowance does not reset.
  • The Pro plan is billed monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time from your profile page.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create using HelloPraise. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content in order to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your reviews or employee data.

7. AI-generated content

AI-generated text may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before using it in a professional context. HelloPraise is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of AI output, or fitness for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HelloPraise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
