HelloPraise ("we", "us", "our") operates hellopraisehq.com, a tool that helps professionals write performance reviews. You can reach us at support@hellopraisehq.com.

  • Account data: your name and email address when you sign in via Google or email link.
  • Review content: employee names, roles, skill ratings, notes, and generated review text that you create and save.
  • Usage data: how many auto-generated reviews you have used.
  • Payment data: billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details.
  • Profile data: optional job title, department, bio, and profile photo.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the HelloPraise service.
  • To generate AI-assisted performance review content.
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails (sign-in links, billing receipts).
  • To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your review content for advertising.

4. Third-party services

For technical infrastructure and service delivery, we use third-party services.

Each service has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data retention

Your account data and saved reviews are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual reviews from your dashboard at any time. To request full account deletion, contact us at support@hellopraisehq.com.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@hellopraisehq.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are not stored — authentication is handled via Google OAuth or email magic links. Database access is restricted to our application servers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or by a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
